Job Description

Job Title - Mechanical Engineer

Location - Surat, Gujarat

Experience - 2-5 Years

About the Company

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement timely solutions.
Maintain equipment logs and ensure operational efficiency.
Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain records and logs of repairs and maintenance activities.
Assist in installation and testing of new equipment when required.
Work closely with vendors and service providers for maintenance support.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–4 years of relevant experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficient in using tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance software.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Required Skills

Experience in manufacturing or process industries.
Knowledge of TPM/Lean maintenance practices.
Basic PLC troubleshooting skills.
