Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in executing mechanical works related to STP, WTP, and Water Supply projects. The candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electromechanical systems and equipment at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and supervise mechanical works related to pipelines, pumps, valves, blowers, motors, and other electromechanical components.

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for mechanical systems.

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment in STP/WTP/Water Supply projects.

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and site engineers for timely material delivery and installation.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of installed mechanical systems.

• Maintain documentation for equipment, commissioning reports, and daily progress.

• Support procurement team with technical specifications and vendor evaluation.

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams for approvals and coordination.

Qualifications

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Water Supply / STP / WTP / Infrastructure / EPC Projects

Additional Information

Key Skills Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in STP/WTP/Water Supply mechanical systems.

• Proficiency in reading P ID, mechanical layouts, and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of mechanical codes, IS/CPHEEO standards, and testing procedures.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and site execution capabilities.

• Familiarity with commissioning and O M of mechanical components.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with government contracts and large-scale municipal or infrastructure projects.

• Worked with electromechanical equipment vendors or EPC contractors.
