We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment projects and be proficient in AutoCAD and the preparation of technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting: Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and schematics for mechanical systems, equipment layout, piping, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive tender proposals, technical specifications, equipment lists, and bid documents for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• System Analysis: Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to the design, selection, and optimization of pumps, valves, piping systems, and other equipment used in water and wastewater processes.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, process) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into overall project design.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct technical reviews and inspections to ensure all mechanical designs and installations meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the consulting or contracting sector.
• Proven knowledge of water treatment and wastewater treatment projects is mandatory (e.g., knowledge of filtration, pumping stations, aeration, sludge handling, etc.).
• High proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and drawing management.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills, necessary for generating clear tender and proposal documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
