Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our electronics manufacturing team at Chathur Pravarthan. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components used in our electronics manufacturing processes. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that the mechanical aspects of our production processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing mechanical systems, fixtures, and equipment for manufacturing electronic products. You will work closely with design and production teams to integrate mechanical and electronic components seamlessly. Analyzing mechanical designs, performing simulations and stress analyses, and troubleshooting mechanical issues during production are also key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, collaborating with suppliers to source mechanical parts and materials, and working with maintenance teams to ensure proper installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility is paramount, as is the preparation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 2-5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and design. - Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems and safety.
