We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician Senior to join our Slide Gate department within the Sales division at RHI Magnesita India Limited. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the engineering and technical aspects of slide gate products that are critical to our clients' operations.

In this senior position, you will be instrumental in providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the sales process, ensuring the successful integration of mechanical solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with sales, production, and engineering teams to optimize product functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-depth technical expertise and consultation related to mechanical engineering aspects of slide gate products.
• Assist the sales team by preparing detailed technical documentation, proposals, and product specifications tailored to customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with quality standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and problem-solving activities regarding product development, modifications, and customer applications.
• Support the development and implementation of technical training materials for internal teams and clients.
• Analyze product performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical engineering and slide gate products.
• Lead and mentor junior technical staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field is required.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering technology, preferably within a manufacturing or sales support environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Proficient in using CAD software and other technical tools for product design and documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
