As a Mechanical Engineering Technician Senior at RHI Magnesita India Limited, you will play a crucial role in the Slide Gate department within the Sales division. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful integration of mechanical solutions for slide gate products that are vital to our clients" operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing in-depth technical expertise and consultation on mechanical engineering aspects of slide gate products. - Assisting the sales team by preparing detailed technical documentation, proposals, and product specifications tailored to customer requirements. - Coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with quality standards. - Conducting feasibility studies and problem-solving activities related to product development, modifications, and customer applications. - Supporting the development of technical training materials for internal teams and clients. - Analyzing product performance and recommending improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety. - Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical engineering and slide gate products. - Leading and mentoring junior technical staff to foster a collaborative work environment. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. - Proven experience in mechanical engineering technology, preferably in a manufacturing or sales support environment. - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues. - Proficiency in using CAD software and other technical tools for product design. - Exceptional communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
