Role Overview:

Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design

  3D CAD models

  for plastic injection molded parts using

  CATIA V5 R24

• Create part designs using

  constrained sketches and Boolean operations

• Work using

  multi-skeleton methodology

  in product structures
• Develop HVAC components complying with

  DFM/DFA standards

• Prepare technical proposals, design reports, and presentations
• Create

  detailed engineering drawings

  with

  GD&T

• Conduct

  tolerance stack-up analysis

• Perform

  vehicle packaging investigations

  and concept development
• Conduct self-checks for

  CAD quality and design optimization

• Manage design data using

  PLM systems

• Ensure on-time delivery of design tasks within project budget

Mandatory Skills

CATIA V5 – Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting

HVAC component design

Injection Molding / Casting manufacturing processes

GD&T (ISO Geometric Tolerancing)

tolerance stack-up analysis

DFM/DFA and automotive design standards

✔ Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills
