Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities:

* Lead mechanical design projects from concept to production

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development

Product Development & Prototyping:

• Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize designs for production.
• Support design validation through simulation, analysis, and physical testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in [industry: automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, etc.].
• Expertise in 2D,3D modeling and drafting using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Solid edge, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), material properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, ANSI, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
