Mechanical Design Engineer

At Dabir Precitech Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled mechanical design engineer to plan and execute the same the simplify everyday issues of appliances. With a passion to design, develop and test mechanical components, the candidate must thrive in a challenging environment.

Objectives of this role:

• Translate the client’s briefing to components through innovative and reliable mechanical product development.
• Act as a bridge between the company, client and manufacturer.
• Analyse the mechanical design and refine it as per the requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing industry, designing new products or modifying existing ones.
• Support the documentation and analysis of tool designs and modifications.
• Create and modify CAD models of casting designs and auxiliary tooling for parts and components.
• Designing and developing precision tools and dies.
• Understanding of CNC machining and die casting processes.
• Evaluate designs for feasibility, cost, and manufacturing viability. Use software for solidification and process simulation to improve casting robustness.
• Select appropriate materials for the investment casting process based on design specifications and performance requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and casting defects, then drive implementation of corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Develop manufacturing plans, special processing techniques, and technical documentation for the product lifecycle.
• collaborating with production teams to ensure accurate tooling, conducting tests to verify functionality, and troubleshooting issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and sales, to ensure designs are production-ready and meet customer needs.
• Familiarity with quality control methods and inspection tools.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Prior experience working as a mechanical design engineer or machine designer.
• Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modelling.

Preferred skills:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Sound knowledge of GD&T
• Strong verbal, written and communications skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
