Master Data Specialist

SAP MDG Consultant

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) solutions with a focus on data management and governance.
• Understanding of Data quality(Collibra)
• Act as an SME in one or more domains such as Product, Customer, Vendor, Finance, or specific FMCG segments like Petcare or Confectionary.
• Design and implement complex yet efficient business processes, data models, and workflows to improve data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with regional/market-level stakeholders to understand data-related issues and provide effective solutions.
• Drive alignment of data governance strategies with business objectives in the FMCG sector.
• Ensure compliance with global and regional data governance standards, policies, and processes.
• Support stakeholder relationship management with regional leaders and senior business teams.
• Provide training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business users and technical teams on SAP MDG functionalities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG (implementation and support).
• Expertise in data management, governance frameworks, and workflow design.
• Deep understanding of FMCG industry processes and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with regional leaders and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to analyze data issues and deliver effective governance solutions.
• Experience in stakeholder management and driving cross-functional alignment.
