Job Description

Job Summary:

DECG Group (DECG International) is seeking an experienced and technically sound Marketing Engineer / Manager with a strong background in government infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for marketing, business development, and liaison activities with government departments such as PWD, NHAI, Buildings & Bridges Departments, particularly related to Bearing & Expansion Joints Division.

Key Responsibilities:1. Marketing & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with government bodies including PWD, NHAI, CPWD, State Infrastructure Departments, and other PSU organizations.
  • Promote company products and solutions related to bridge bearings, expansion joints, and allied infrastructure products.
  • Prepare and execute marketing strategies for government and semi-government projects.

2. Government Liaison & Coordination

  • Maintain strong relationships with key officials, consultants, and decision-makers in government departments.
  • Regular follow-up with departments for project approvals, technical discussions, and clarifications.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, technical presentations, and client meetings.

3. Tendering & Documentation Support

  • Support tender evaluation, technical compliance, BOQ understanding, and specification review.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and estimation teams for tender submissions.
  • Assist in negotiations and finalization of orders.

4. Technical & Commercial Support

  • Provide technical inputs related to bearings, expansion joints, and structural components.
  • Coordinate between client, design team, and execution team for smooth project handover.
  • Track project status from order receipt to execution stage.

5. Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Prepare regular MIS reports on leads, tenders, orders, and market trends.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product developments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of bridge construction, bearings, and expansion joints.
  • Sound understanding of government tendering procedures and approval systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve marketing targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Profile:

  • Prior experience working with PWD, NHAI, Buildings & Bridges Departments.
  • Proven track record in marketing or business development for infrastructure / EPC / manufacturing companies.
  • Exposure to large-scale government infrastructure projects.

Compensation:

  • Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualification, experience, and performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
