Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Head E-Commerce Jewellery Brand

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive end-to-end marketing strategy (performance + brand building).
  • Define short- and long-term brand vision aligned with business goals.
  • Drive festive, bridal, seasonal and luxury campaign calendars.
  • Plan and manage annual and campaign-specific marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and CAC control.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Manage SEO, SEM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, influencer and affiliate marketing.
  • Strategize and execute campaigns across marketplaces (Amazon, Tata Cliq, Nykaa, etc.)
  • Optimize user journeys, traffic and conversion funnels using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.
  • Develop and manage CRM/email campaigns to increase customer retention and lifetime value (CLTV).

Brand & Content Management

  • Shape the brand narrative and storytelling in line with luxury positioning.
  • Oversee content creation for social media, website, emails, and campaigns.
  • Align product and collection launches with strategic brand communication.
  • Collaborate with creative/design, product, and IT teams to enhance brand aesthetics and UX.

Client Engagement & Acquisition

  • Analyze consumer behavior and market trends to attract new luxury clientele.
  • Build loyalty programs and personalized communication for existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to translate client insights into effective marketing strategies.

Product & Collection Marketing

  • Coordinate the launch of new collections: positioning, audience targeting, materials, and execution.
  • Evaluate performance of existing products and collections, recommending improvements and new approaches.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of 34 marketing executives and manage agencies/freelancers.
  • Drive accountability and performance across internal and external collaborators.

Events & Offline Promotions

  • Plan and execute exhibitions, luxury showcases, influencer events and PR activities.
  • Coordinate with partners and vendors for offline activations and collaborations.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, consumer trends, and campaign performance.
  • Generate regular reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Travel

  • Travel as required for events, brand collaborations, and inter-location coordination.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  • Growth in qualified footfall and new client acquisition.
  • Improved conversion and engagement metrics from digital campaigns.
  • Successful product/collection launches with measurable sales uplift.
  • Increased brand awareness and recall across platforms.
  • High team productivity and seamless project execution.

Candidate Profile

  • 812 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the jewellery, fashion, or luxury segment.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, CRM/email marketing, marketplace promotions.
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar), CMS (Shopify/StoreHippo), SEO/SEM tools.
  • Excellent communication, creative thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of building luxury brands or premium consumer products.

Desirable

  • Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Prior experience in jewellery manufacturing + retail businesses.
  • Understanding of regional campaigns, vernacular content and influencer outreach.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp commerce, YouTube, Pinterest, and short-form video campaigns.
  • Passion for jewellery, fashion, and high-end consumer experiences.
