Job Description – Marketing Executive (Banking Sector)

Role Overview:
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for promoting the bank’s products and services, driving customer acquisition, and building strong client relationships. This role requires a mix of sales, marketing, and customer service skills to achieve business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and market the bank’s retail and corporate products (savings accounts, current accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, investment products, etc.).
Identify and acquire new customers through field visits, referrals, digital campaigns, and networking.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Conduct marketing campaigns, roadshows, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to develop effective marketing strategies.
Collaborate with branch and product teams to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Cross-sell banking products to existing customers to maximize wallet share.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies during customer interactions.

Knowledge of banking products and services.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Presentation and negotiation skills.
Digital marketing awareness (social media campaigns, online lead generation) is an added advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Performance Indicators:
Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Number of new customer acquisitions.
Cross-sell ratio and revenue contribution.
Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
