Job Description

Job Summary:

The M&A Analyst / Associate will be responsible for supporting the origination, evaluation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. The role involves conducting financial analysis, valuation modeling, due diligence, and preparation of deal-related presentations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Origination & Analysis

Support senior team members in identifying and evaluating potential M&A opportunities across sectors.
Conduct detailed company, industry, and market research to identify strategic targets or buyers.

Financial Modeling & Valuation

Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate transaction scenarios, synergies, and valuations.
Perform valuations using methods such as DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and LBO modeling.

Transaction Execution

Assist in managing the due diligence process by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders (legal, tax, accounting, consultants).
Prepare key transaction documents information memoranda, term sheets, and board materials.
Support negotiation efforts by providing financial insights and analytical support.

Key Skills :

Strong understanding of
corporate finance, M&A, and valuation techniques.
Advanced
Excel and financial modeling skills
(DCF, LBO, Merger models).
Proficiency in
PowerPoint
for preparing professional presentations and pitch books.
Excellent
analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
