Marketing Associate - Canva

The position

As Marketing Associate (Canva Expert) you will be responsible for being professional skilled in using Canva, a graphic design platform, to create visually appealing content which aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives. The role involves a variety of tasks centered around design, branding, and content creation.

Responsibilities

1. Design Creation: Develop and design engaging graphics, videos, presentations, infographics, social media posts, and other visual content using Canva. Adapt existing designs for various platforms and formats (social media, email, print). Create engaging short-form videos using Canva's video editing tools. Ensure all designs adhere to guidelines and maintain consistency across various platforms and materials.
2. Content Management: Manage and organize Canva templates and design assets. Update and maintain design files and templates to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with current brand standards.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and deliverables. Provide design support and expertise to other team members as needed.
4. Branding: Develop and maintain Canva templates that align with the company's branding and messaging. Ensure all visual content is consistent with the company’s brand voice and visual identity.
5. Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design and Canva. Apply new design techniques and trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
6. Feedback and Revisions: Receive and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve designs. Ensure all designs are error-free before finalization. Handle design revisions efficiently and ensure final outputs meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Canva expert - For creating static images and video edits
• Bachelor’s in Management Studies/ Mass Media/ Business Administration with specialization in Marketing. Master’s degree will be a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking skills
• Hubspot experience will be a plus
• Self- Initiator/Proactive
