Were looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Communications Lead to own and elevate our messaging across all channels and formats, internal, external, digital, and offline. This role combines big-picture thinking with day-to-day content execution, leading the copywriting and graphic design team, crafting performance-driven marketing assets, and ensuring our brand voice is strong and consistent across every customer touchpoint. If you have a sharp eye for storytelling, experience writing compelling ad copy and video scripts, and a passion for delivering creative that converts, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Communications Leadership Own and lead the integrated marketing communications strategy across web, CRM, paid media, social, print, PR, and internal channels. Shape and maintain a unified, persuasive brand voice across touchpoints. Lead internal communications initiatives to enhance transparency, engagement, and alignment. 2. Performance Copywriting & Creative Content Development Write and review ad copy for performance marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, and programmatic platformsfocusing on clarity, CTA strength, and A/B test potential. Create persuasive scripts for videos, animations, explainer content, social spots, and brand films, in collaboration with video producers and designers. Develop copy and content for websites, brochures, presentations, landing pages, and lead-gen campaigns. Translate data and insights into emotionally resonant, action-driving messaging. 3. Team Leadership & Creative Oversight Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of writers and designers. Oversee the full creative development lifecycle from brief to delivery, ensuring all work is on-brand, on-brief, and performance-oriented. Maintain high-quality standards for messaging, tone, design alignment, and storytelling across formats.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, admissions, product, and academic teams to ensure campaign messaging is aligned with institutional priorities and market needs. Partner with performance marketers to refine ad copy based on campaign performance and audience segmentation. 5. Brand Development & Consistency Serve as a guardian of brand voice and visual language, evolving it thoughtfully based on business goals and audience insights. Ensure cohesive messaging across organic and paid channels, internal and external communications. 6. Data-Informed Optimization Use performance metrics (CTR, CVR, engagement rates, retention, etc.) to guide and improve creative outputs. Lead creative experimentation across messaging angles, copy lengths, formats, and placements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (Masters preferred). 5 - 8 years of experience in a copywriting, creative strategy, or communications leadership role. Proven experience writing high-performing ad copy and video scripts. Strong creative judgment with the ability to direct and critique visual assets as well as copy. Experience managing or collaborating with design, video, and performance marketing teams. Strong storytelling instincts, with an ability to balance brand and conversion goals.
