Market Research Analyst

The ideal candidate will thrive in a data-driven environment, possess a keen eye for trends, and be passionate about turning market intelligence into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct

    comprehensive market research

    (primary and secondary) to analyze industry trends, market potential, and competitive landscapes within the SaaS ecosystem.
  • Track and evaluate

    competitor products, pricing, and positioning

    to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Analyze

    customer behavior, pain points, and satisfaction data

    to support product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain

    market intelligence dashboards and databases

    to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Prepare

    research reports, presentations, and insights documents

    for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with

    Product, Marketing, and Sales teams

    to align research findings with go-to-market strategies.
  • Support

    forecasting, segmentation, and market sizing efforts

    to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of global SaaS trends, technology innovations, and evolving customer demands.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of

    SaaS business models, KPIs, and competitive frameworks

    .
  • Experience in

    data analysis, market intelligence, and industry benchmarking

    .
  • Proficiency in tools like

    Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Google Data Studio

    for reporting and visualization.
  • Familiarity with

    market research tools and databases

    (e.g., Statista, Gartner, CB Insights, Crunchbase).
  • Strong

    analytical and critical thinking abilities

    with attention to detail.
  • Excellent

    verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to

    synthesize complex information

    into clear, actionable insights.
  • Exposure to

    B2B SaaS or technology-driven environments

    is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA (Marketing / Business Analytics / Strategy)

    preferred but not mandatory.
  • 35 years of relevant experience in

    market research, business intelligence, or strategy

    , ideally within a

    SaaS or technology product

    organization.
