Market Development Officer

Role Overview

The Market Development Officer will be responsible for generating soil, leaf, fertilizer, and organic manure analysis samples by engaging with FPOs, research institutes, farmer groups, and individual farmers. The role focuses on building field-level relationships, promoting analytical services, increasing sample inflow, and supporting scientific advisory programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sample Generation & Field Engagement

- Generate soil, leaf, fertilizer, and organic manure samples as per monthly/quarterly targets.

- Visit FPOs, farmer groups, agri-institutes, agro-input dealers, and progressive farmers to promote analysis services.

- Conduct field meetings, farmer awareness campaigns, and demonstrations.

- Coordinate with internal laboratories for sample flow and reporting.

2. Market Development & Outreach

- Build strong relationships with agri-stakeholders.

- Promote sustainable agriculture concepts and analysis-based advisory.

3. Customer Relations & Support

- Guide stakeholders on sampling procedures and report interpretation.

- Follow up on advisory recommendations.

- Ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualification & Skills

Educational Qualification:

- B.Sc. Agriculture / ABM / B.Sc. Chemistry / Any science discipline.

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

- Experience in market development for soil/leaf analysis sample generation

Or market development in agriculture input sector

- skills Required:

- Strong communication and networking.

- Knowledge of soil health or crop nutrition (preferred).

- Willingness to travel.

- Computer skills.

- Telugu Mandatory.
