Market Development Manager - Domestic Sales | Key Accounts - CV | 5 to 7 Years | Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead all sales, growth strategies and activities for a specific geographic territory.
  • Generate new revenue opportunities within a given strategic market, while managing existing accounts to meet, exceed annual sales, marketing plans and objectives.
  • Independently build and strengthen customer relationships to drive business growth.
  • Act as a solutions provider by establishing trust with customers and sustaining long-term relationships in a consultative environment.
  • Maintain strong awareness of the medical device, complex CV Surgery market to assess, negotiate and close high-level executive deals.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and thrive in a fast-growing CV Surgery market, with the ability to expand business through strategic partnerships across the entire product range.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities at all times to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of opportunities, prospects and forecasts to management.
  • Ensure effective collection, dissemination of project details and customer requirements to internal teams in line with corporate procedures prior to quoting.
  • Collaborate with internal, corporate teams to develop and present proposals.
  • Plan and conduct strategic negotiations with customers.
  • Monitor and manage relationships with current customers through engagement activities and program oversight.
  • Achieve annual sales goals for the territory, aligned with corporate requirements for predictability, profitability, resource allocation and strategy.
  • Facilitate internal communication across development, manufacturing, quality, clinical affairs and leadership teams to ensure a consistent relationship with new and ongoing customers.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in Science (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business development and sales, ideally in the CV Surgery/medical device industry.
