Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement
manufacturing infrastructure
to support NPD and ongoing production.
Identify and drive
waste elimination projects
to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Conduct
process analysis
, monitor performance, and enhance process capability.
Develop, review, and optimize
manufacturing layouts
to improve overall workflow and productivity.
Establish robust manufacturing processes for
new products
and continually improve processes for existing products.
Collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams
such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Design to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
Support
Capex planning
, equipment selection, and validation.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and support initiatives for continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of
Process Engineering
.
Ability to develop and optimize
manufacturing layouts
.
Exposure to
Capex planning and execution
.
Good experience in
productivity and efficiency improvement
projects.
Working knowledge of
heat treatment processes
.
Hands-on knowledge in manufacturing processes such as
Turning, Centreless Grinding
, etc.
Fair understanding of
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
.
Good understanding of
cutting tools and tooling
used in turning and grinding operations.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional coordination.
