Manufacturing Engineer

Designation: Engineer I - Manufacturing

• Shall work to improve and support the production process of Asteria's UAV products.
• Review product specifications and production schedules to come up with ways to manufacture UAVs with maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
• Good understanding and exposure to electronics systems manufacturing in general and have a hands on experience in manufacturing/assembly of PCBs and cable harnesses.
• Shall know the fundamentals of various engineering systems and how to effectively integrate electronics, mechanical design, manufacturing, and quality control into the product manufacturing process
• Prepare and release line diagrams, route cards, SOPs for electronics manufacturing/assembly
• Conduct PFMEA and other failure analysis to validate and improve manufacturing process prior production kickoff
• Prepare and release manufacturing data packs required for production activities that involves process documents, route cards, SOP's
• Identify avenues to continuously improve system manufacturing process through kaizen, POKA YOKE & other process improvement techniques
• Able to work on Non conformances and drive towards route cause and support rework documentation
• Work on Configuration management system and maintain the revision track for components and assemblies used in the product
