As an Automation Motor Development Engineer specializing in shutter and gate motors, your role will involve leading the design, development, and testing of the next generation of rolling shutter and sliding/swing gate motors. You will need a strong blend of electrical, mechanical, and control systems expertise to excel in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Motor Design: Design and optimize AC/DC motors (e.g., Tubular, Side-mounted) for high torque, reliability, and energy efficiency tailored to shutter and gate applications. - Mechanical Integration: Design gearbox, braking mechanism, and housing for durability, noise reduction, and seamless integration with the shutter/gate structure. - Control Systems: Develop electronic control boards (PCBs) with features like limit switch systems, remote-control interface logic, and safety mechanisms (e.g., anti-crush, obstacle detection). - Prototyping & Testing: Build and rigorously test prototypes to ensure they meet required torque specifications and duty cycles under various load conditions. - Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant Indian and international safety and electrical standards. - Material Sourcing: Collaborate with the procurement team to specify and source high-quality components and materials.
