Manual Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Execute test cases (manual) and identify, record, and track defects.
• Perform various types of testing — Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document test results, prepare bug reports, and communicate issues clearly to the development team.
• Re-test fixed defects and verify bug resolutions.
• Participate in test planning, test case review, and requirement review sessions.
• Ensure test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Good understanding of web applications, APIs, or mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation (optional but preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
