Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, one of India’s premier cultural institutions, invites applications for Managing Editors to strengthen its publishing programme, in Mumbai.

Role & Responsibilities

· Oversee editing of books on history of India, culture, philosophy, yoga, and epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata.

· Coordinate with proofreaders and authors to ensure high quality publications.

· Lead the preparation of revised editions of existing titles and initiate work on new publications.

Eligibility:

• PG in in History, Political Science, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Mass Communication or Library Science
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Managing Editor in a publishing house, newspaper, or periodical.
• Prior teaching/research experience/ Authoring books is an added advantage.
• Strong editorial judgment, managerial ability, and passion for heritage of India.
