Established in October 2016, we publish deeply reported, analytical, and well-narrated stories every day across formats such as longform features, newsletters, and podcasts. Our subscriber community, the majority of whom are in India, comprise innovative and successful entrepreneurs and senior executives; venture capitalists; policymakers; MBA students; and dozens of companies. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an ambitious and curious Staff Writer based in Bengaluru who can focus on tech and internet businesses, such as food delivery, e-commerce, and streaming, while also looking at how policy is shaping these areas. The reporter will tell stories that require an understanding of company strategy and culture and of the movers and shakers in these sectors. You will be in touch with founders, investment bankers, investors, employees, and analysts to tell those stories. You will chronicle the expansion of some of India s biggest internet firms; identify rising companies; use policy as a lens to document the shift in business; and also make an impact. We value original ideas, exclusive insight, and scoops that matter. As a designer, you will be instrumental in expanding the company's products into new areas such as in-person events, community, careers, and leadership training.
