Job Description

Manager/Sr Manager-Key Account Management

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Medical Network Development

  • Establish and expand the global medical network by partnering directly with international hospitals, diagnostic centres, specialists, and global assistance partners.
  • Identify and on-board new providers through direct billing agreements to enhance the networks global coverage and service quality.
  • Maintain an updated network list to ensure accessibility and transparency for internal teams and insured members.

2. Relationship Management & Partner Engagement

  • Liaise regularly with international medical providers and global partners to strengthen business relationships and ensure service excellence.
  • Conduct overseas visits to key medical providers and partners to review contractual performance, service quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that all network partnerships align with company goals and regulatory requirements.

3. Contract Management & Legal Coordination

  • Review and analyse provider contracts, with particular focus on billing structures, payment terms, float arrangements, and service-level obligations.
  • Provide recommendations and inputs to the Legal team to finalize partnership agreements and maintain contractual compliance.

4. Claims & Cashless Operations

  • Coordinate with international hospitals and assistance partners to arrange cashless medical services for insured members across regions.
  • Supervise daily operations related to claims, pre-approvals, and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex or escalated claim issues in coordination with business units and external stakeholders.

5. International Medical Assistance

  • Manage medical evacuations and repatriations, including coordination with air and ground ambulance providers to ensure safe transfer of members to appropriate medical facilities.
  • Facilitate the repatriation of mortal remains from overseas to the deceased members home country in coordination with relevant authorities and service providers.

6. Stakeholder Engagement & Service Excellence

  • Engage with brokers, insurers, corporate HR teams, and Compensation & Benefits departments to understand their healthcare and claims management needs.
  • Provide customized solutions to support corporate clients and enhance member satisfaction.
  • Monitor service quality, provider performance, and complaint resolution to ensure adherence to company standards.

7. Process Improvement & Quality Oversight

  • Collaborate with internal business units to identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee quality control measures, handle provider escalations, and ensure continuous process optimization within claims and cashless operations.

8. People Management:

Responsible for leading and managing team managers and members to ensure efficient and effective operations. This includes conducting regular performance reviews, setting individual and team objectives, and providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to support professional development and enhance productivity.

The role also involves resource planning and allocation to maintain the smooth functioning of daily operations, ensuring the right balance of skills and capacity across the team. The incumbent is expected to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promote accountability and engagement, and drive continuous improvement within the team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualification Required

Education Qualification-Any Graduate

Experience: 8+ years of experience.

Excellent Communications skills

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with experience in managing US/UK clients from the KPO/BPO sector will be preferred.
