As a Manager / Sr. Manager Consolidation & General Ledger (US GAAP), your role will involve leading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion. Your responsibilities will include preparing US GAAP-compliant financial statements and cash flow reports, supporting the Deputy Global Controller during US GAAP audits, and monitoring general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly. You will also be responsible for performing intercompany reconciliations, preparing journal entries, conducting detailed account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls such as SOX. Key Responsibilities: - Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes - Prepare US GAAP-compliant financial statements and cash flow reports - Support Deputy Global Controller during US GAAP audits - Monitor general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies - Perform intercompany reconciliations and currency revaluations - Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation - Conduct detailed account reconciliations - Ensure compliance with internal controls, including SOX - Analyze financial statements to identify trends and variances - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements - Manage opening and closing of ledgers during financial close cycles - Stay updated with changes in US GAAP and ensure alignment in financial reporting - Assist in the preparation of audit-ready reports and presentations Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) with 9-12 years of relevant experience - Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial consolidation, and general ledger management - Proficient in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills - Experience in financial audits and familiarity with SOX/internal controls - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines - Experience in process improvement and automation initiatives is a plus Please Note: This job requires working 5 days a week with shift hours ranging from 10 am to 10 pm, including a 2-month period of night shift (4 pm - 1 am) for transition processes from the US to India.
