Manager/Senior Manager

As a Manager/Senior Manager specializing in Consolidation & General Ledger under US GAAP, you will be responsible for leading the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate completion. Your role will involve preparing US GAAP-compliant financial statements and cash flow reports, supporting the Deputy Global Controller during audits, and monitoring general ledger accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly. Additionally, you will be expected to perform accurate intercompany reconciliations, currency revaluations, and prepare journal entries while ensuring proper documentation in line with accounting policies. Detailed account reconciliations and follow-ups on outstanding items will be part of your responsibilities, along with ensuring compliance with internal controls, including SOX, and contributing to continuous process improvements. Analyzing financial statements to identify trends, variances, and business implications will also be crucial. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial close timelines with a focus on automation and efficiency, managing opening and closing of ledgers during financial close cycles, and staying updated with changes in US GAAP to ensure alignment in financial reporting are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, assisting in the preparation of audit-ready reports and presentations for stakeholders will be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 9-12 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting. Strong expertise in US GAAP, financial consolidation, and general ledger management is essential, along with proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Demonstrated experience in financial audits, familiarity with SOX/internal controls, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities within tight deadlines are also required.
