Job Description

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines, managing pharmacy staff, and providing excellent pharmaceutical care to patientsThe role combines clinical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and safely Oversee the daily activities of the pharmacy, including prescription processing, inventory control, and staff schedulingEnsure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and institutional policies and standards.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances ecruit, train, and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnelConduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary actions when necessary.
Foster a positive team culture focused on patient care and safetyProvide professional and accurate pharmaceutical care and consultation to patients and healthcare providersEnsure that all medications dispensed are safe, effective, and appropriate for the patient Address and resolve patient concerns and issues related to medicationsManage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize cost-effective processes.Monitor drug usage patterns and ensure optimal inventory levelsNegotiate with suppliers and maintain relationships with vendors for procurement of medications and supplies
