Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control

  daily mould manufacturing operations

  to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare

  process plans, routing, and manufacturing schedules

  for moulds and components.
• Allocate work to operators and supervisors to ensure

  optimal manpower and machine utilization

  .
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and take

  proactive corrective actions

  .
• Ensure

  world-class quality standards

  for mould manufacturing and minimize rework and rejection.
• Coordinate with

  procurement and stores

  for raw materials, consumables, tooling, and spares.
• Drive

  lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

  on the shop floor.
• Maintain accurate

  production MIS, daily reports, and performance dashboards

  .
• Lead, train, and evaluate production teams to ensure

  discipline, productivity, and skill development

  .
• Ensure

  safe, clean, and well-organized shop floor operations

  in line with company standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 510 years of experience

  in mould manufacturing / tool room operations.
• Strong hands-on exposure to

  CNC, VMC, EDM, Wire-cut machining workflows

  .
• Proven experience in

  production planning, process routing, and time estimation

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  precision machining, mould quality standards, and tolerance control

  .
• Experience working in

  process-driven or international quality environments

  .
• Strong

  people management and shop floor leadership

  skills.
• Proficient in

  MS Excel and ERP / manufacturing systems

  for data tracking and reporting.
• Exposure to

  lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices

  .
• Ability to handle

  multiple projects under tight timelines

  .
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
