Manager/Assistant Manager - Legal & Compliance

You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising legal contracts, agreements, and other documents related to manufacturing, distribution, licensing, retail, and intellectual property. It is essential to ensure that contracts with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other business partners comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Your role will also involve managing compliance by ensuring that all legal documents meet industry regulations, international trade laws, and consumer protection standards. Working closely with the compliance team, you will be required to ensure that legal documents reflect the latest legal and regulatory changes in the apparel industry. In terms of contract administration, you will need to establish and maintain an efficient system for managing and tracking legal documents and agreements. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely renewal or amendment of contracts. Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, GL Scrutiny, month-end closing work, and daily transactional review will be essential in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Moreover, a minimum of 1-4 years of experience in a legal document management role, preferably within the apparel or fashion industry, is required. A strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property law, and compliance regulations specific to the apparel industry will be advantageous for this role.,
