Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Planning and Budgeting:

  1. Draft the HR, Admin & L&D budget along with the finance function and review the same regularly to ensure the actuals are within the approved budget.
  2. Work with the finance team and HR verticals to gather requirements and deliveries
  3. Close budgeting process both in terms of headcount, functional costs and wage costs within timelines

Compensation Management:

  1. Ensure Compensation strategy is in line with the guidelines
  2. Ensure unit level nuances are incorporated in compensation strategy with respect to broad guidelines related to fixed variable, long term to short term incentive etc
  3. Review and implement compensation structures to make it an attractive proposition when hiring while balancing organisation wage cost.
  4. Participate in annual compensation benchmarking to evaluate the organisations standing in the industry and provide feedback internally.

Performance Management, Annual Compensation Review & AIP Management:

  1. Drive Performance Management Process as per guidelines within the set timelines
  2. Roll out the Annual Compensation Review and Mid Year Review cycles while working with the Business HR & Functional Heads within stipulated timelines.
  3. Design and execute the AIP annually basis organisation and LOB performance as per guidelines set.
  4. Design and execute revenue incentive plans and competition schemes that align with organization goals and revenue strategies.
  5.   Partner with Business Leadership to understand roles, targets, OKR, and market benchmarks to design various incentive & compensation levers which drive culture of performance
  6.  Analyse sales performance data and ensure accurate and timely incentive payouts including dashboarding & support communication and training initiatives around incentive plan as required.
  7.   Monitor plan effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed to improve performance alignment
  8.   Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness and equity. Develop compensation models and conduct cost/impact analysis to support business decisions.

Job Evaluation:

  1. Responsible for Job Evaluation of all roles across the organisation.
  2. Manage & facilitate the process of Job Evaluation by ensuring that all necessary inputs and data points for the same (structures, JD etc) should be in place.
  3. Update the functional competency framework from time to time to encompass all new roles that emerge from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel and/or power BI
  2. Familiarity with sales incentive structures and HR analytics
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  4. High attention to detail 
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
