Job Description

Responsibilities As a VHT Maintenance Engineer, the key responsibilities will include: Leading and coordinating the maintenance activities for various ground support equipment, including baggage tugs, aircraft pushback tugs, and conveyor belts. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and availability of equipment. Conducting regular inspections and performance tests to identify and address potential issues proactively. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and minimize downtime. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance procedures, including the handling of hazardous materials and waste. Documenting maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair histories accurately. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and enhance equipment performance. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of learning and development. Qualifications Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Experience 8-10 years of experience in maintenance engineering within the airline and airport industry.
