Job Description

Responsibilities Project Delivery and Execution: - Work as construction lead for completion of project within budget. Also ensure proper safety and quality of work.Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.Prepare, supervise and approve the development of Project Execution Plan [from construction point of view], and its implementation plus ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project including Project Close-out.Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction, pre-commissioning of the project in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.Overseeing the preparation of monthly progress reports entailing progress & details for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.Monitor and report to Construction Head, for project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner. Quality Management: - To implement all Quality control measure during execution of works along with QC team To approve the Method statements of the works in collaboration with quality team. Inspection and Approval of Mock-ups in coordination with quality and user department. Attend offsite testing and inspection of material and approval of same. Safety Management: - Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks throughout the Company.Conducting regular and Surprise safety audit with Safety team to ensure zero Tolerance towards safety. Arranging Pep talk and Safety talk at site before starting the new activity with safety team. Time Management: - Monitoring Macro/Micro Level project Schedules.To plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan.Daily monitoring of progress and issues with contractor to ensure planned progress of works. Contract Management: - Assist in negotiating with contractors regarding changes to design, construction work scope, and schedules. Vendor & Material approvals in line with specification. Preparation / reply of contractual letters/correspondence in coordination with contract team. Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented. Cost Management: - Monitoring the cost of work of various awarded jobs with respect to execution and enforce all the check and counter measures to avoid the cost overrun.Assessment and justification of all the additional work done by vendor beyond the scope of work and work out the cost for the same.Preparation and approval of cost estimates / BOQ’s of project in coordination with contract team.Certifications of contractors /sub-contractors bills. Stakeholder Management: - Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of scope and schedule to all the team members.Effective Coordination with external and internal stakeholders for the smooth completion of the project. Conduct regular meetings with all stakeholders for the timely completion of project. Qualifications Educational Qualification: B.Tech Civil or any related fields.M.Tech Civil or any related fields. Experience 20-25 years of experience.
