Job Description

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong Patent paralegal and docketing skills. The idea candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in team management. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing the paralegal and docketing operations, coordinating communication across teams, and creating data-driven reports for our clients.

Requirements

Manage data and document workflows to meet deadlines and maintain compliance
Create, update, and manage matters in the docketing tool (FIP preferred), and generate reports based on client and internal requirements.
Manage and lead a team of paralegal and docketing professionals
Communicate and manage client expectations and provide deliverables.

Competencies

Proficient in working on FIP (preferred) and/or other docketing tools
Patent paralegal knowledge of various jurisdictions including at least US, EP, and IN
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills including record keeping, data collection, and system information.
Ability to compile and furnish concise, detailed information in report format, written correspondence, email, or verbally.
Must have the ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels.
Must have the ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
Must be willing to accept responsibility and make decisions based on experience, education and understanding of business needs.
Fast learner able to grasp business needs and priorities quickly.
Critical thinking: able to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
