We are looking for an experienced Manager (Tractors) to support the design and development of clutch systems for tractor and heavy-duty applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in clutch design, validation, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure robust and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable, durable, and efficient clutch systems capable of handling high torque and stress in heavy-duty tractor applications.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of clutch components and assemblies using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or CREO.
• Execute design activities including DFM, DFA, DFMEA, GD&T, and ensure adherence to IS standards, APQP processes, and IATF 16949 documentation requirements.
• Select suitable materials for clutch components, ensuring performance under harsh operating conditions and heavy loads.
• Perform and support testing and validation activities including load testing, wear testing, reliability testing, and clutch calculations such as heat stress and energy calculations.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure designs are cost-effective, manufacturable, and aligned with production capabilities.
• Identify design or process-related issues and develop effective solutions to improve product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure clutch designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements related to safety, performance, and environmental considerations.
• Lead the design and development of Single, Dual, Double, NEC, and NDC clutch systems for tractor applications.
• Apply basic knowledge of CAE concepts and boundary conditions to support design and validation activities.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanical design, material science, and thermodynamics.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modelling tools and simulation software, with hands-on experience in CREO preferred.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, and machining.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in clutch design and development, preferably within tractor or heavy-duty automotive applications.
