Manager - Sustainability

Role Overview: As a Manager - Sustainability at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, your main job purpose is to develop the non-financial performance data management system for all the manufacturing units & corporate offices. This will ensure that the organization meets the ESG goals by documenting the annual ESG performance of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop the sustainability framework by designing data templates and sharing them with the concerned team for regular data inputs. You will also schedule meetings with individuals to explain the data templates and requirements. - Prepare a Stakeholder Engagement Plan including stakeholder identification, engagement frequency & mode. Design and develop stakeholder engagement questionnaires, conduct surveys, and present the outcomes to top management. - Manage the implementation of non-financial performance data in digital platforms. Define governance for data inputs, roles & responsibilities, escalation metrics, and update ESG dashboard for senior leadership. - Design the sustainability framework for the organization by mapping required frameworks for sustainability disclosure. Prepare the organization to participate in international forums such as UNGC, CDP, TCFD, SBTi, and oversee the collection, analysis, and verification of (ESG) data. - Facilitate units by providing training and capacity building, developing sustainability champions, and encouraging team member participation and documentation. - Develop and implement a roadmap aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Lead sustainability initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of environmental and social responsibility. - Prepare submissions for sustainability awards, stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, and drive innovation and continuous improvement in sustainability practices. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. - Strong understanding of ESG frameworks such as GRI or BRSR, experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex sustainability concepts effectively. - Certification in sustainability-related fields (e.g., LEED, CSR, CDP) is a plus. - Minimum 8-12 years of work experience with significant exposure in a manufacturing setup.
