Role & responsibilities Compliance of all rules and regulations related to Environment, Health and Safety. Investigation of all incident/accident, take precaution and action to avoid recurrence. Implementation and monitoring of safety systems. Active participation in implementation of Process Safety Management Element. Preparation of SOPs, manuals related to EHS department and its implementation. Formation and setting up of safety committee, conducting meetings as per frequency and ensure compliance. Coordinate to conduct safety audits, plant safety inspection, mock drill. Identify hazards and risk related to all activity and suggest on minimizing risk. Prepare emergency preparedness plan and ensure effectiveness. Preparation and monitoring of EHS Budget. Prepare EHS training schedule and induction program for employees and contractual workers. Ensure compliance of PPEs for all operational activity. Ensure operational capability of fire and emergency equipment like fire extinguishers, hydrant system, fire alarms, interlock and its effective working. Identify unsafe act and unsafe condition and advise to eliminate the same. Implement ISO45001 and 14001 standards. Active participation in SA8000, Responsible Care (RC) and other EHS related certification audits. Conduct Behavior Based Safety(BBS) at workplace. Preferred candidate profile B.Sc/BE with PDIS. Must have 10-12 years experience in API/Intermediate industry. Proficient in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SA8000 and RC compliance standards.
