Job Description

Core responsibilities

Client and Project Management:
Manage client portfolios, leading the entire audit process from planning to completion. Maintain primary contact with clients and work with Directors/Partners to build relationships.
Team Leadership:
Build, coach, and lead teams of audit professionals to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
Audit Execution:
Execute statutory audits and provide related services, such as accounting services under Indian GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP. This includes ensuring compliance with audit manual, standards, and legal regulations.
Quality and Risk Control:
Ensure all audits are completed to a high standard within deadlines. Monitor and manage project risks and assist in managing the project budget.
Business Development:
Support business development activities and may become a subject matter expert in a specific industry or technical area.

Requirements

Education and Experience:
A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory, with a minimum of 4-8 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit, preferably from a Big 4 or similar firm.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and a strong understanding of auditing standards like IFRS and ISA. Experience with internal control testing is also beneficial.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
Other:
Willingness to travel within India or internationally for client assignments
