Job Description

Role & responsibilities: • Maintain and update the fixed asset register to ensure accurate and timely recording of asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals. • Assist in conducting regular physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies. • Monitor depreciation calculations and ensure they align with accounting standards and company policies. • Support the preparation of fixed asset schedules for financial reporting and audits. • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Procurement teams for fixed asset-related activities. • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, IFRS) and company guidelines for fixed asset management. • Assist in implementing process improvements for tracking, monitoring, and reporting fixed assets. • Ensure timely tagging, categorization, and tracking of all newly acquired assets. • Support audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and resolving audit queries related to fixed assets. Experience Required: • 4-6 years of experience in fixed asset management, accounting, or related roles. • Prior experience with ERP systems and fixed asset modules is preferred.
