Manager STAT / GAAP & IFRS Reporting (RTR – Finance Control & Governance)

Manager – STAT / GAAP & IFRS Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Consolidation

  Prepare and review financial statements under

  US GAAP, IFRS, and Local Statutory (STAT)

  for multiple global insurance entities.

• Regulatory Submissions

  Lead and oversee periodic filings to regulators across

  US, UK, Bermuda, Europe, Canada, and LATAM

  ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

• Accounting Adjustments

  Review complex accounting areas such as

  deferred acquisition costs, reserves, investments, and reinsurance

  in alignment with reporting frameworks.

• Group & Entity-Level Reporting

  Support

  group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, variance analysis

  , and multi-basis reporting.

• Audit & Compliance

  Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with global accounting policies and maintaining strong documentation.

• Stakeholder Collaboration

  Work closely with

  controllership, actuarial, and FP&A

  teams for reconciliations, data validation, and aligned reporting outcomes.

• Process Improvement

  Lead initiatives on

  automation, accuracy, governance, and consistency

  across the multi-GAAP reporting function.

• Quality & Controls

  Maintain a robust control framework and review key deliverables for adherence to

  GAAP, IFRS

  , and internal policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• CA / CPA / M.Com / B.Com

  or Finance Graduate
• Strong experience in

  F&A External Reporting / Financial Reporting

• Experience in an

  Insurance/Financial Services

  environment preferred

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  GAAP, IFRS, STAT reporting

• Hands-on experience with

  Oracle, Blackline

  , and advanced

  MS Excel

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
  
• Strong time-management and stakeholder management abilities
  
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
