Sales & Operations Manager

to lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the

Rigid Frame Truck

product group. This role is pivotal in driving alignment across functions, optimizing inventory and supply chain performance, and ensuring customer delivery excellence. A key focus will be on the

Truck Body business globally

and the

APD Region

inventory coordination, and collaboration with dealers and field teams. This position will have direct reports located in regions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

As the S&OP Leader, you will:
  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring meetings are scheduled, content is relevant, and outcomes are actioned.
  • Co-lead Demand and Supply Reviews with cross-functional teams including Sales, Industry, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Support forecast iterations, incorporating business constraints and opportunities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators to enhance business visibility.
  • Collaborate with Caterpillar go-to-market teams to align processes and drive mutual success.
  • Guide inventory investment decisions, stocking policies, and strategic planning in line with business objectives.
  • Manage a globally distributed team of direct reports.

Relocation is available for this position.
