The Integrate Development Platform organization invent, develops, and supports distributed software services across multiple platforms to enable Workday integrations capabilities and is looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team
About The Role
What does a Software Development Manager for our Integration Platform team do at Workday?

About You
- Own the development for the platform that drives core business transactions for some of the world’s biggest companies
- Be responsible for a team of technology-driven developers who work on sophisticated, server-side Java and Scala components
- Help the team move to best practices in DevOps and Continuous Deployment
- Build critical systems at scale and work closely with stakeholders
- Be the Scrum Master and deliver business value quickly and consistently
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years experience directly managing and leading software development engineering teams, fostering high-performing and engaged teams focused on delivering high-quality software.
- 8+ years experience in software development engineering, including architecting, building, and scaling robust and efficient software systems.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Prior experience as Scrum master
