Job Title: Senior Manager/ Manager – Quality Assurance (QA)

Role Summary:

The QA Head will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong quality assurance systems and processes to ensure that all products meet regulatory, company, and customer standards. The role involves overseeing raw material inspection, in-process quality control, finished goods evaluation, and compliance with food safety standards in a Soya processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team across the manufacturing unit.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and other food safety standards.
• Monitor quality control procedures for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
• Develop and implement SOPs for quality checks and documentation.
• Manage audits—internal, external (regulatory), and customer audits—and ensure timely closure of NCs (non-conformities).
• Handle customer complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams for quality-related issues and improvements.
• Oversee laboratory functions including testing, analysis, calibration, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead training sessions on quality and food safety for cross-functional teams.
• Ensure traceability of all batches and maintain detailed quality documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce wastage.

Qualifications & Experience:

• M.Sc / B.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of QA experience in the food industry; prior experience in Soya or edible oil processing preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Experience in managing audits and certification processes (ISO, HACCP, FSSC, etc.)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹924,528.74 - ₹1,200,716.59 per year
