About the role
As the search optimisation manager for Tesco online you will be at the heart of strategically improving the customer internal search journey for the largest UK based online grocer. You will be responsible for the day to day running, maintenance and improvements of Search, working closely with the key business channels to prioritise optimisation against business KPIs. You will build analytic dashboards to find and track optimisation opportunities, run weekly KPI dashboards. You will work with our technology teams on continually improvements of our current tools as well as being a key part of building the strategic plans for the future of search and browse. You will be responsible for
- Understands business needs with a strong focus on Why, What and How - Working with the 3 core business areas within Tesco online to prioritise search optimisation opportunities. - Identifying and focusing on improving trending and key search terms.-Building and ownership of internal search thesaurus tool.- Building and using adobe analytics dashboards to track and report on weekly KPIs- Collaborating with search product team to improve search ranking algorithms, based on customer data.- Working with the product teams to improve the search optimisation tools required for the future of search optimisation.- Building close and effective relationships with key teams across multiple disciplines- Spotting and implementing process and technological improvements within the work stream, including the writing, and presenting of business cases.-Develop and lead a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best.- Working in an agile way of working and continue to improve operational efficiency.- Develop and lead a high performing team, creating an environment for success by setting direction and coaching them to succeed through inspiring conversations every day. - Initiates and designs continuous improvements initiatives to drive performance within their teams - Diagnose and recommends solutions to operational challenges, using specialist knowledge & operational expertise
You will need
