Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-drivenSales Head with expertise in Commercial and Industrial (CI) solarprojects. The ideal candidate must have 4-5 years of relevant experience in thesolar industry, specifically in the CI segment, and should be well-versedin techno-commercial aspects, government policies, and regulatory frameworks.This role requires a strong ability to generate leads, convert prospects intoclients, and lead a high-performing sales team in Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts for solarCI projects in Maharashtra, with a focus on generating, nurturing, andconverting leads into profitable contracts. Techno-Commercial Expertise: Provide in-depthtechno-commercial solutions for CI customers, balancing both technical andfinancial aspects of solar energy projects to ensure profitability and customersatisfaction. Lead Generation: Actively generate and qualify newbusiness opportunities from commercial and industrial customers withinMaharashtra. Focus on cultivating leads and developing long-term relationships. Government Policy Knowledge: Stay informed aboutstate-specific government policies, incentives, and subsidies related to solarenergy in Maharashtra. Guide customers in leveraging available governmentschemes and benefits. Client Relationship Management: Build strongrelationships with CI clients, providing personalized solutions andtechnical advice, ensuring customer satisfaction from initial contact toproject completion. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implementeffective sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, negotiatingcontracts, and meeting sales targets for CI projects. Market Insights Competitive Analysis: Monitorthe local solar market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keepthe sales approach ahead of the curve. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely withengineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure seamlessproject execution post-sale, as well as collaborate with marketing for leadgeneration. Reporting : Regularly report on sales performance,market trends, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business,Engineering, or a related field Experience: 4-5 years of relevant sales experience inthe solar industry, specifically in CI solar projects. Proven track recordin generating leads and closing deals in the Maharashtra region. Skills: Deep understanding of techno-commercial aspectsof solar projects, including financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, andreturn on investment (ROI). Expertise in lead generation, sales cyclemanagement, and closing deals in the CI market. Excellent negotiation, presentation, andcommunication skills. Ability to manage client expectations andprovide tailored solutions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft OfficeSuite. Desired Attributes: Passion for renewable energy and sustainability,with a focus on the solar sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of ateam in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, results-driven, and able to thriveunder pressure. Strong networking abilities within theMaharashtra solar ecosystem.
