Job Title: Manager - Sales (C&I Projects) Location: Maharashtra Department: Sales Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Head with expertise in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar projects. The ideal candidate must have 4-5 years of relevant experience in the solar industry, specifically in the C&I segment, and should be well-versed in techno-commercial aspects, government policies, and regulatory frameworks. This role requires a strong ability to generate leads, convert prospects into clients, and lead a high-performing sales team in Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts for solar C&I projects in Maharashtra, with a focus on generating, nurturing, and converting leads into profitable contracts. Techno-Commercial Expertise: Provide in-depth techno-commercial solutions for C&I customers, balancing both technical and financial aspects of solar energy projects to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. Lead Generation: Actively generate and qualify new business opportunities from commercial and industrial customers within Maharashtra. Focus on cultivating leads and developing long-term relationships. Government Policy Knowledge: Stay informed about state-specific government policies, incentives, and subsidies related to solar energy in Maharashtra. Guide customers in leveraging available government schemes and benefits. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with C&I clients, providing personalized solutions and technical advice, ensuring customer satisfaction from initial contact to project completion. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets for C&I projects. Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Monitor the local solar market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to keep the sales approach ahead of the curve. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution post-sale, as well as collaborate with marketing for lead generation. Reporting : Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Experience: 4-5 years of relevant sales experience in the solar industry, specifically in C&I solar projects. Proven track record in generating leads and closing deals in the Maharashtra region. Skills: Deep understanding of techno-commercial aspects of solar projects, including financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and return on investment (ROI). Expertise in lead generation, sales cycle management, and closing deals in the C&I market. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to manage client expectations and provide tailored solutions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
