Job Description

Business Development Government Engagement

  • Identify and engage with key government departments, ministries, and public sector bodies (e.g., Police, Defence, Disaster Management, Railways) to map capacity building and training requirements.
  • Understand annual state and departmental budgets and align TimesPro s offerings with their skilling and upskilling priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with bureaucrats, senior officials, and subject matter experts to open new business avenues.
  • Proactively track tenders, EOIs, and RFPs issued by government departments and position TimesPro as a preferred training partner.

Project Strategy Solutioning

  • Collaborate with internal solutioning and content teams to design tailored training interventions aligned with government department needs and policy objectives.
  • Translate government capacity building goals into actionable program designs and strategies.
  • Ensure high-quality proposals and documentation that address client objectives and tender requirements.

Sales, Contracting Negotiation

  • Present and pitch solutions to government stakeholders using a combination of personal networks, direct outreach, and participation in public sector events and forums.
  • Lead proposal submissions, contract negotiations, and closure of high-value projects.
  • Develop pricing strategies in alignment with business goals and market expectations.

Project Implementation Client Management

  • Work closely with delivery and operations teams to ensure timely, effective execution of programs.
  • Monitor project delivery, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to compliance, documentation, and financial processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client servicing and post-project engagement to nurture long-term relationships.

Job Requirement

Experience Skills:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in government consulting, public sector business development, or capacity building initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning government training contracts or similar mandates.
  • Strong network across government departments and agencies at the state and central levels.
  • In-depth understanding of how government systems, tendering processes, and public procurement mechanisms work.

  • Experience in developing large, customized training programs across sectors.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and project management abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a deep understanding of public sector dynamics.
