TVISSA is building India’s 1st Aspirational Saree Brand. We are solving for the desire of today’s customers to stand out at every occasion, function, and festival – through handcrafted sarees rooted in regional crafts.


We work directly with artisans and clusters to create statement pieces that feel traditional yet globally aspirational. Think: Banarasi is to weddings what TVISSA aspires to become for “I want to look unforgettable” moments. We are early in our journey and are now ready to scale our offline presence with retailers and wholesalers across India. That’s where you come in.


Role Overview

Building presence in the offline markets store-by-store and city-by-city. Interacting with retailers, wholesalers, and MBOs and onboarding them.


This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Has worked with retailers, MBOs, saree stores, boutiques, and wholesalers
  • Knows how margins, schemes, credit cycles, and sell-through work in fashion
  • Is comfortable owning targets, building relationships, and travelling for market visits
  • Is trustworthy, dependable, and can work with high ownership in an early-stage brand


You’ll be one of our early core team members on the business side and will directly shape how TVISSA shows up in the offline market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Offline Sales & Territory Expansion

    - Identify and onboard retailers, boutiques, saree showrooms and wholesalers in key cities. Pitch TVISSA collections and build a strong, aspirational positioning at the store level. Plan and execute trunk shows, exhibitions, society events, and pop-ups to drive demand
  • Retailer & Wholesaler Relationship Management

    - Build deep, long-term relationships with store owners and buying teams. Negotiate margins, payment terms, and schemes that work for both TVISSA and partners. Ensure smooth order cycles, replenishments, and handle any post-sales concerns
  • Revenue Ownership & Performance

    - Own sales targets for your region and drive primary & secondary sales. Track sell-through, bestsellers, and slow-moving styles; give input on what to restock or drop. Share weekly reports on numbers, on-ground feedback, and market intelligence
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

    - Stay on top of trends in the ethnic wear / sarees, pricing, and competitor activity. Collect insights on what today’s customers are asking for in stores – colours, fabrics, drapes, price points. Work with founders/design team to fine-tune collections, MRP, and assortment based on ground realities
  • Brand Presence at Store Level -

    Coordinate with the brand team on visual merchandising, in-store branding, lookbooks, and displays. Ensure TVISSA is presented as an aspirational, premium-yet-accessible saree brand Train store staff on how to talk about TVISSA – story, craft, care, and styling.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in offline sales and business development in: ethnic wear / sarees / fashion brands
  • Experience working with retailers, wholesalers, MBOs, and/or distributors
  • Strong understanding of fashion retail economics – margins, discounts, schemes, credit cycles, etc.
  • Comfort with travelling for market visits, store meetings, and events/exhibitions
  • Good communication skills in English + Hindi (regional language is a plus)
  • Basic comfort with using Excel/Sheets, WhatsApp, CRM tools, and email for updates & reporting
  • Ownership mindset: You don’t wait for instructions; you make things move
  • Hustler with structure: You can hustle, but you also maintain follow-ups, notes, and numbers properly
