Manager - Safety

Role Overview: As a Safety Manager in the Power/Energy industry, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations. You will conduct safety inspections, coordinate training programs for employees, investigate workplace incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns. Additionally, you will lead emergency response drills and provide guidance to management on safety-related matters. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulations - Conduct safety inspections and audits, recommend corrective actions - Coordinate safety training programs for employees - Investigate and report on workplace accidents and safety-related incidents - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns - Lead emergency response drills and ensure readiness for safety-related emergencies - Provide guidance and support to management on safety matters Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (masters degree preferred) - 10-15 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry - Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs - Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the Power/Energy sector - Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff on safety protocols,
